A huge thank you to everyone who braved the weather and joined us on Saturday. Unfortunately, due to the storms, our Halloween weekend had to finish early and Sunday's event is cancelled.

Our pumpkins have all been grown right here at Blue Cuckoo Farm, and we've got plenty to choose from — traditional orange pumpkins, beautiful blue and white varieties and some wonderfully weird and warty gourds.
We'll also have a selection of homemade cakes and Halloween biscuits available to buy.
Unfortunately, due to the weather, our planned Halloween activities, including face painting, won't be going ahead.
We hope you'll still come along and choose a pumpkin!

We’ve grown our first proper pumpkin patch this year, with traditional carving pumpkins, beautiful cooking varieties and some very strange little gourds. Every one was grown here on the farm from seed, starting back in May.

Meet The Pumpkins
Jack O’Lantern Large £12 | Medium £8 | Small £5
The Halloween classic — bright orange, traditional and made for carving. The flesh can also be used for soups and other autumn cooking.

An extraordinary ornamental squash with a distinctive turban shape and wonderful autumn colours. It’s not just good-looking — the sweet, nutty flesh is delicious too.

Turk’s Turban £8
Ornamental Gourds Small £1 Large / Fancy £2 each or 3 for £5
A wonderfully odd mixture of little gourds in all sorts of shapes, colours and patterns. Some are striped, some are knobbly and some are almost impossible to describe — which is exactly why we grew them.

A beautifully round, bright orange pumpkin with a strong stalk and classic Halloween looks. A particularly good choice for carving.

Fireball £6 each
A small creamy-white pumpkin with smooth skin and a neat, rounded shape. Pretty enough for autumn displays, but edible too, with sweet flesh that’s good for roasting and baking.

Casperita £4
Small, knobbly and distinctly brain-like, these strange little gourds look as though they were made for Halloween. Each one is slightly different and the more peculiar they are, the better.

Brains £3
Beautiful blue-grey skin hides rich orange flesh with a sweet, nutty flavour. One of the best varieties for eating and excellent for roasting, soups and baking.

Crown Prince £8 each
This one was supposed to be pink, but the seed had other ideas. A lovely round green pumpkin with subtle striped skin that makes a great alternative to traditional orange.

Green Pumpkin £3
Tiny, bright orange pumpkins that look like miniature versions of the classic Halloween pumpkin. They’re lovely for autumn displays and table decorations, but they’re edible too, with sweet flesh that can be roasted or baked.

Jack Be Little £3
Our weirdest and wackiest gourds, transformed into little Halloween monsters with their own pair of eyes. Every one is a different shape, colour and character, so no two monsters are quite the same.

Limited parking is available at the farm.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
Bring a bag – Please bring a sturdy reusable shopping bag to carry your pumpkins home.
With the recent weather, the pumpkin patch is likely to be muddy, so wellies and waterproofs are definitely recommended!
